You wonāt believe what some of the most beautiful people in the world look like when they wake up.
No makeup. No filters. No designer outfits.
Just them.
And itās not always pretty.
Have you ever watched one of those extreme makeover shows?
Someone walks in looking haggard, worn down by life, hoping for a fresh start.
Stylists work their magic, outfits are hand-selected, and sometimes they even get a pep talk from a life coach.
By the end, they step out looking like a whole new person.
But have you ever wondered what happens to them two or three months later?
Does the transformation last?
Or do they quietly slip back into the version of themselves they tried so hard to escape?
There are some women who always look flawless in public.
Hair done, makeup on point, fit check passed.š
But letās be real.
The moment they wake upābefore the glam kicks inātheyāre just like the rest of us.
Messy hair. Sleepy eyes. Morning breath.
Because true beauty isnāt in the presentationāitās in the person.
We say ābeauty is in the eye of the beholder,ā but what do people really see when they look at you?
More importantly, what do they hear when they listen to you?
Iāve met persons who are easy on the eyes, handsome like Mufasa *iykyk*šāstrong, well-dressed, confident.
But their character?
Beastly.
Untamed. Uncaring.
And suddenly, all that external beauty meant nothing.
Imagine meeting your hero, your favorite artist, someone you admire… and they turn out to be cruel, dismissive, even barbaric.
Would that image of them you upheld still hold weight?
I believe the best makeovers arenāt the ones that happen in salons.
Theyāre the ones that happen in silenceāin the moments where we choose to work on the rough, raw, and untamed parts of ourselves.
When we clean up our character, our integrity, our mindsetāthen we can adapt our exterior to compliment our self improvements.
Iāll share my personal journey with makeup and makeovers next Monday, but for now…
Whatās one thing youāve done to transform yourself from the inside out?
Letās talk in the comments.Ā šš½
