Ever tried solving a Rubik’s Cube?
At first glance, it seems impossible.
All the colors are mixed up, and no matter how hard you try, it seems the sides never align perfectly.
But then, with practice and patience, you begin to understand its rhythm.
The Rubik’s Cube can be a lot like the gift of the Holy Spirit and the gifts He gives to believers.
The Holy Spirit Himself is the ultimate gift—the presence of God dwelling within us.
And yet, He comes with “many sides” or dimensions, just like the colors on the cube.
These dimensions include gifts like prophecy, teaching, encouragement, and discernment.
But here’s the thing: not every gift comes naturally to us.
Some gifts take practice to unlock.
For instance, you may have the capacity to prophesy but not be called to the office of a prophet.
You may give generously in one season, but in another, the Spirit moves you toward intercession.
Just like solving the cube, we adjust, grow, and work toward the fullness of our potential.
And all of it comes from being connected to the Holy Spirit Himself.
This journey of discovery is supernatural, yet for believers, it is meant to feel… natural.
Discernment sharpens through use, and spiritual “senses” become as second nature as our earthly ones.
In many ways, we are like Superman.
On Krypton, he was normal. But on Earth, his abilities seemed superhuman.
Those of us who have been born again are as it were from another planet. My son used to call heaven God-planet.🌏
Believers are designed to live with “super” natural senses.
Eyes to see the eternal.
Strength rooted in God’s power.
A heightened awareness of His presence.
And a place seated in heavenly realms.
One lesson we can learn from the Rubik’s Cube is to keep working, keep trusting, and keep yielding to the Spirit.
The sides may not align perfectly right away, but the Master always knows how to finish the puzzle.
So, the question is: will you lean into the process?
Will you trust Him to reveal the many colors and dimensions of His gift in you?
Because you’re not of this world.
You’ve been made for more.
